Noise has launched its new over-ear headphones, the Master Buds Max, in India. This is developed in collaboration with Bose, like the Master Buds TWS that launched earlier this year. The headphones claim to deliver balanced, ‘high-quality expertly-tuned audio,’ ‘segment-leading ANC,’ and ‘up to 60 hours of playtime.’ They are priced under Rs 10,000 as part of an inaugural offer, and if you are eyeing a wireless headphone in this budget with the aforementioned highlights, check out the details below:
The new Noise headphones are priced at Rs 9,999 for an introductory period. It is available on gonoise.com in three colours, viz., Titanium (beige), Silver, and Onyx (black).
The Noise Master Buds Max use Bose’s sound tuning. Under the hood, there is a 40mm driver backed by hi-res codecs like LHDC. The companion app has a Dynamic Equaliser feature that claims to automatically adjust sound frequencies based on volume levels to maintain clarity and warmth across listening conditions. At low volumes, the EQ is said to boost bass and treble, while at higher volumes, it lowers them to avoid distortion and fatigue.
Noise boasts ‘segment-leading active noise cancellation performance powered by five microphones, designed to block out ambient sound in real time up to 40db (decibels). The headphones are said to outperform competing models by up to 85 percent across key low- and mid-frequency ranges, such as engine hum or background chatter.
Battery life is rated at up to 60 hours on a full charge, with fast charging offering 10 hours of playback in just 10 minutes.
Noise also highlights its focus on comfort by using lightweight materials and breathable ear cushions. Like the Master Buds TWS, this one also gets the vinyl disc design on the circular housing. There is also a thin 2 PM light bar for power-on status. The headphones ship with a velvety pouch. You can also buy a vegan leather carry case with suede microfiber lining from Noise.
At its current price, it can compete against established over-ear headphones like Sony WH-CH720N, Sennheiser ACCENTUM, and JBL Live 770NC. But, it offers tempting features like Sound by Bose, a long battery life up to 60 hours, a Dynamic EQ feature, and ANC ceiling up to 40 decibels. Let’s see how Noise’s extended partnership with Bose plays out. Stay tuned to our reviews and other coverage around this pair at Digit.in.
