It looks like OnePlus is looking to generate some hype before the launch of a new product. The company has released a teaser video on YouTube, which shows a spinning LP disc with some groovy disco music in the background. The video ends with the message, “tune in on 8.25.2016”. Could OnePlus launch a new pair of headphones?
We have already seen a bunch of headphones from OnePlus such as the OnePlus Silver Bullets and the Icon earphones. With the recent shift to USB-C could we see OnePlus launch a USB-C enabled headphones? These headphones could be the perfect accessory to the OnePlus 3 which sports an USB-C port. It's also possible that the headphones could be a successor to the OnePlus Icons. We speculate this because the vinyl record playing in the video is labelled, “OnePlus V2”.
It is also possible that OnePlus is simply throwing us off the track, and will launch something entirely new instead.
