The Gionee CTRL V5 has 4.7-inch IPS display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. It sports an 8MP rear and 2MP front camera. The smartphone comes with 8GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB.
For connectivity, the CTRL V5 supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS and Bluetooth. A 1800mAh battery powers the device. The smartphone comes preloaded with various apps and games such as Yahoo Cricket, Facebook, WPS, Whatsapp and more.
While Gionee is focussing on the mid range and high end segments with its Elife E and S range of smartphones, the company is also making efforts in the budget segment with CTRL series. Recently, Gionee launched the CTRL V4, featuring Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and 512MB of RAM. The CTRL V4 is priced at Rs. 9,999.
