Thomson has launched a 32-inch smart TV in India running JioTele OS. The new model targets entry-level and mid-range buyers looking for improved picture quality and sound in compact living spaces. It combines a QLED panel, 36W speaker output and Jio’s content-led software approach, positioning it as an alternative to Android-based TVs that dominate the segment.
The Thomson 32-inch JioTele OS QLED TV (32TJHQ002) is priced at Rs 9,499. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting January 22, 2026.

The TV features a 32-inch bezel-less QLED panel with HD Ready resolution (1366 x 768), HDR support and a claimed peak brightness of 350 nits. Compared to standard LED panels common in this size, QLED technology is expected to deliver better colour reproduction and contrast. However, the HD Ready resolution means keeping modest expectations for details, particularly at close viewing distances.
The television runs JioTele OS, which prioritises live TV and Indian content discovery over a traditional app-first layout. With this OS, users get access to more than 400 free live TV channels, over 300 JioGames and a selection of global and regional OTT apps via the Jio Store. It also includes AI-based recommendations based on viewing history, language and regional preferences.
Under the hood, you will get an Amlogic processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Audio is rated at 36W through stereo box speakers with surround sound support. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two HDMI ports with ARC and CEC support, two USB ports and an optical digital audio output. The TV ships with a voice-enabled remote that supports multiple Indian languages and includes dedicated buttons for Netflix, JioCinema, Jio Hotstar and YouTube.
