LG India has introduced its 115-inch QNED evo AI Mini LED TV, model 115QNED90BL, in India. Digit was part of the media attendance at this launch event at Croma in Sector 29, Gurugram. This is the largest model in LG’s 2026 QNED evo lineup, and it looked ginormous in person. The QNED evo TV combines a 4K Mini LED display with AI-powered picture processing, smart TV features, and gaming capabilities. It is targeted at those of you wanting a big cinema-like viewing experience at home. But here’s what you need to know.
The LG QNED evo uses Mini LED backlighting and Precision Dimming Ultra to control thousands of local dimming zones. This approach is designed to improve contrast by adjusting brightness across different screen areas, helping preserve detail in dark scenes while maintaining bright highlights.
The TV also features Dynamic QNED Color Pro, which LG says has received Intertek certification for 100% colour volume against the DCI-P3 colour space. Under the hood, there is LG’s Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen3, which powers AI Super Upscaling, AI Picture Pro and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro. These features analyse and process images to improve perceived detail, colour and contrast, particularly when the source content is below 4K resolution. However, actual results will depend on the quality of the source material, internet bandwidth if you are streaming and the picture settings you have set on the TV.
For audio, the television supports Dolby Atmos and AI Sound Pro, which creates a virtual 11.1.2-channel surround effect through the built-in speakers. The hardware comprises a 40W, 2.2-channel speaker system. While this provides spatial audio processing, buyers planning a dedicated home theatre setup can also connect an external soundbar. And at the event, an LG spokesperson highlighted the presence of LG’s Wow Orchestra support on this TV, which syncs the audio coming from the TV and the soundbar for a stronger, seamless output.
LG has equipped the television with gaming features that include VRR up to 165Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). These are designed to reduce screen tearing and input lag during compatible games.
But don’t confuse the VRR with the TV’s native refresh rate, which is 120Hz. Additionally, LG’s Motion Booster mode is here to further increase the refresh rate to 330Hz at an optimised Full HD resolution. This distinction matters for buyers who prioritise high refresh rates in fast-paced games. The TV also offers LG Gaming Portal, which provides access to supported cloud gaming services and web games.
On the software front, the television runs webOS 26. Its features include Voice ID for personalised home screens, AI Concierge for content recommendations, Sports Portal for match information, and Sports Alert for team notifications. We also got a demo of the built-in AI assistant support. The AI repertoire includes Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot, which would allow users to search for information and related content. And in case you are concerned about data security, LG Shield is in the mix to protect user data and personalised experiences.
The big TV comes with a notable price of Rs 14,99,990. The 115-inch QNED 90BL television is listed on LG India’s official website.
