Hisense has launched its new U7SE Mini LED TV in India. The TV is available in sizes ranging from 55 inches to 100 inches. As the name suggests, it has Mini LED backlighting with full-array local dimming, a 144Hz refresh rate, AI-powered picture processing and a built-in Devialet-tuned audio setup. The U7SE is being targeted at users looking for a large-screen TV for cinema and serious gaming.
The Hisense U7SE Mini LED TV series starts at an introductory price of Rs 63,990 in India. This is for the 55-inch model. Meanwhile, the TV is also available in 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch and 100-inch sizes.
The company says the TVs will be sold through offline retail partners like Satya, Nandilath, MyG, Great Eastern, Patra Electronics and Khosla, etc.

The Hisense U7SE sports a Mini LED backlight, Full Array Local Dimming (FALD), Hi-View AI image processing engine, and quantum dot colour layer. The setup is said to offer improved contrast, colours, clarity, and blacks than standard LEDs. That proprietary engine is said to analyse scenes in real time and adjust contrast, brightness and colour settings automatically. The 100-inch models feature the more advanced Hi-View AI Engine Pro, which is designed to further improve image clarity and detail.
The brand also gives Hi-QLED Colour technology and Pantone Validation, which is said to deliver more accurate colours for movies, sports and streaming content. There is support for Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ Adaptive, Filmmaker Mode, and an AI RGB Light Sensor that automatically adjusts picture settings based on room lighting conditions.
For gaming, the U7SE series offers a native 144Hz refresh rate for smoother motion effects and responsiveness in fast-paced games. The 100-inch variant has an even better 165Hz native refresh rate with Game Mode. The TVs also support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) through HDMI 2.1.
Audio is handled by a built-in subwoofer and sound tuning by French audio brand Devialet.
The U7SE lineup runs on VIDAA Smart OS with access to popular streaming applications and hands-free voice controls.
On paper, the U7SE appears to offer a strong mix of premium display technology, gaming-focused features and large-screen options. The launch pricing of the base variant looks very aggressive. Stay tuned for our review.
