Vodafone Idea Vi recharge plans under rs 200 offers Data and unlimited call
Vodafone Idea (Vi) has recently partnered with Aditya Birla Capital to roll out the new prepaid plans that will benefit the customers using both Android and iOS devices. India’s third-largest telecom company has included mobile insurance in the recharge plans that will cover the subscribers against the loss and theft of their phones. The insurance range extends up to Rs 25,000, just like the value of the mid-range smartphones that are predominantly being used in India. There are various recharge packages that the customers will choose from in which the insurance premium will already be included. Vi will process the claims online.
There are three prepaid recharge options under this plan. The first option costs Rs 61. It gives 2GB of data with a validity of 15 days. Along with this, the phone is insured for 30 days. The second option costs Rs 201. It offers 10GB of data with a 30-day validity and provides insurance for 180 days. The third option costs Rs 251. It also gives 10GB of data with 30 days’ validity, but the insurance lasts for a full 365 days.

Vi has explained that the insurance cost is already included in the recharge price. This means customers do not need to pay a large insurance fee at one time. The company has also introduced a digital claims process. This system uses customer details to speed up claim approval and settlement. The goal is to make the insurance easy to use and stress-free for prepaid users.

Along with insurance, Vi continues to improve its prepaid data plans. The Hero Unlimited plans offer unlimited night data, weekend data carry forward, and extra data options. The Super Hero plans give 12 hours of unlimited data. The Non Stop Hero plans offer 24 hours of unlimited data with no daily limit. These plans are designed for users who consume a lot of data.

Government data shows that more than 85% of Indian households own at least one smartphone. Phone prices are also rising, making protection more important. With replacement costs reaching Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000, Vi is treating phone protection as a basic service. This approach can help reduce customer switching, increase revenue per user, and strengthen competition with Jio and Airtel.
