Reliance Jio 5G services to launch in Rajasthan on October 22

Jio started its 5G Beta trial in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Varanasi earlier this month.

The company will roll out its 5G services in Rajasthan on October 22 from Nathdwara Temple.

Jio has branded its 5G services as True 5G.

The Jio 5G Beta trials started early this month in Delhi and three other cities – Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi. Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited will now launch the 5G services in Rajasthan from the famous Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara town of Rajsamand today. According to the company, people will start getting 5G signals in the entire city in a phased manner.

Jio has branded its stand-alone 5G technology as 'True 5G'. By invitation, the company launched the Jio True 5G welcome offer in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi for Jio users. In addition, Beta trials in Delhi showed that the users got a download speed of over 1Gbps.

5G Technology to roll out from Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara

The former company chairman, Mukesh Ambani, visited the temple last month and promised to roll out the services in the state from the temple. In 2015, Mukesh Ambani also visited the Shrinathji temple before launching 4G services. Akash Ambani, the company Chairman and son of Mukesh Ambani, will dedicate the services to Shrinathji, the deity of the Ambani family.

A company official stated, "The launch of 5G services will transform people's lives in Rajasthan. It will make them technology savvy at par with global citizens." Vishal Baba, mahant of the Nathdwara temple, said, "We welcome the launch of 5G services. It's 5G for Sriji."
