Samsung India has introduced a new financing offer that would make it easier for customers to purchase the latest foldable smartphones. The South Korean tech giant announced a 30-month no-cost EMI option for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8. With the longer repayment period, buyers can spread the cost over a bigger time frame without paying extra interest. Samsung says the move is meant to lower the monthly payment and make premium foldable devices more accessible. The offer is available through select finance partners and comes with zero down payment, giving customers another option to purchase the company’s newest Galaxy Z series.
As per Samsung, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is available with a starting EMI of Rs 6,667 per month, which would be 9 per cent lower than the monthly EMI for the previous Galaxy Z Fold 7. Moreover, the EMI for the passport-size foldable Galaxy Z Fold 8 starts at Rs 6,000 per month, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is available from Rs 4,167 per month. According to Samsung, the longer repayment period is designed to reduce the monthly cost of ownership and help more buyers consider a foldable smartphone.
