Vivo is all set to launch the T5 5G smartphone in India on September 2. Right ahead of the official announcement, the company has already revealed several key details about the upcoming T-series smartphone, including its processor, display, battery and cameras. The handset is confirmed to feature a large 7,050mAh battery, a 144Hz curved AMOLED display and MediaTek’s Dimensity 7 series chipset. The device will also get IP68 and IP69 ratings and will be available in two colour options and will go on sale through Flipkart and Vivo’s online store.
Vivo has not officially announced the price of the T5 5G yet. However, the smartphone is expected to be priced between Rs 34,999 and Rs 49,999, depending on the configuration. The base model may offer 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The final pricing and availability details will be confirmed at the launch event.

The Vivo T5 5G is confirmed to feature a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is claimed to offer up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness.
It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset and pack a 7,050mAh battery with 44W fast charging. The phone is also said to offer IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.
For photography, the T5 5G will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 32MP front camera will handle selfies. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording. The phone will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and is promised three OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
