UC Browser for Android v10.0 update brings revamped UI and more

UC Browser for Android 10.0 launched, features a revamped UI that brings a desktop style browsing experience.

UC Browser for Android version 10.0 update inspired by Google's Material Design is now available for download via Google Play. The update brings a new revamped UI and simplified settings.

The UC Browser for Android 10.0 features a redesigned navigation page. The update brings a new tab management system that makes it easier to switch between various open tabs. The browser has an incognito browsing and a night mode for surfing the web in darker environments. Users can control videos with gestures and browser themes can be customized. Apart from this the update includes a series of bug fixes. The UC Browser for Android 10.0 is a 13 MB download and runs on devices running Android 2.2 or higher.

China based UCWeb, recently rolled out the UC Browser Mini version 9.5.1, that brings features like navigation cards to users in India. The update also brings easier access to saved pages and an font size optimised for smaller screen devices. Read: UC Browser goes past 500 million global users

Last month, UCWeb announced a partnership with leading e-commerce firms including Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal for a 15-day Diwali shopping festival in India. The festival will be hosted exclusively on UC Browser for Android and UC Browser for Windows Phone. UCWeb says that its tie-up with Indian e-commerce sites "is the first partnership of its kind where mobile browser and e-commerce giants work together." The company stated that with the move UC Browser "could become a game changer in the fierce competition prevalent in the e-commerce industry today." UC Browser has over 35 percent market share in India.
