The last few weeks have seen a fair few MediaTek launches, and now, the company has relieved that the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC will be available in the market starting 1st December. The company released a teaser poster to announce the same. The poster indicates that this chipset will focus on conserving energy. 

Which smartphone will be the first to sport this chipset?

MediaTek has not confirmed which smartphone manufacturer will be the first to use this new chipset, however, IQOO has already released a teaser hinting that its new smartphone, the iQOO Neo 7 SE will be the first to sport it. This smartphone is set to launch in Chinese markets on 2nd December 2022.

What features will the IQOO Neo 7 SE have?

While all the features can only be confirmed once the smartphone launches, rumours of certain features have been doing the rounds, giving users a fair idea of what to expect from the device. Apart from being the first smartphone to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, this phone is expected to feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that has a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is believed that the smartphone will also have a 5,000 mAh battery capacity and will support 120W fast charging. 

Apart from IQOO, Redmi will also be launching a smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC soon.
