The first Nokia Windows Phone device spotted in the wild was the Nokia Sea Ray. The Sea Ray, modelled on the same unibody design as the Nokia N9, later became known as the Nokia Sun, and the device has now been caught posing by Symbian Tweet in a leaked Airtel advertisement, as the Nokia 800.

There we have it – what seems to be the real model name of the first Nokia Windows Phone – the Nokia 800. From what’s been leaked before, we know the Nokia Sun or Nokia 800 has much the same specs as the Samsung Omnia W, with a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, and a 1.4GHz processor.

A report by the Economic Times quotes Nokia India’s MD, Mr. Shivakumar, as saying the first Nokia Windows Phone device will arrive only by Q1 2012. The Nokia 800 however, is due to be officially announced at Nokia World, at the end of this month.
