Take a look at Monica’s apartment from Friends, rendered using Unreal Engine 4

Updated on 02-Mar-2016
HIGHLIGHTS

The project took 12 weeks to finish.

The Unreal Engine 4 game engine is out and it’s being showcased in a virtual reality experience of Monica’s apartment from Friends, yes, that sitcom you’ve been watching and re-watching for years. The description on YouTube states that the video was developed over 12 weeks and it really showcases the power of the new game engine. It’s not surprising either, considering that Unreal Engine 3 was used for some of the best looking games in recent times.

The video (above) shows only the living room from Monica’s apartment in New York, but the detail is quite good. We wish it was the entire apartment, but hey, it’s a good start.
