After receiving positive feedback for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung is reportedly planning to launch its first triple-folding smartphone. The device, which is expected to be called the Galaxy Z TriFold, could be available as early as December. This comes after The Chosun reported that the Galaxy Z TriFold launch event could take place in the first week of December, with sales expected to begin shortly after the unveiling. While the company has not confirmed the official details yet, reports have mentioned a few, such as the Galaxy Z TriFold launch date, specifications, and more.
As per the report, the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold may make its way to global retail shelves on December 5. However, it may be limited to select markets, and the availability in India remains a question.
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is said to feature a 6.5-inch external display, the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 7. When unfolded, the device could open into a big 10-inch flexible panel, giving the user a tablet-like experience. To compare, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 offers an 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is said to feature a 5,600mAh battery. The fans can also expect the same 25W charging support with the device.

The report suggests that the device could feature a triple camera, led by a 200MP main camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold could be produced in limited quantities, reportedly between 20,000 and 30,000 units, with the intent of highlighting the brand’s technological innovation rather than driving sales volume. It could be priced between KRW 4.4 million (approximately Rs 2.66 lakh), placing it in the ultra-premium category.
