HIGHLIGHTS

Samsung Galaxy S26 series is set to launch on February 25, 2026.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra has already leaked in an early hands-on.

Tech YouTuber Sahil Karoul shared images and short clips online, claiming he managed to purchase the device ahead of launch from Dubai.

Samsung is currently preparing to host its next Galaxy Unpacked event 2026, which is scheduled for February 25. At the event, the tech giant Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S26 series, which will most likely include three models- the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

But even before the official reveal, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has already leaked in an early hands-on. Tech YouTuber Sahil Karoul shared images and short clips online, claiming he managed to purchase the device ahead of launch from Dubai. The photos show the phone being held in hand and compared with other flagship devices.

From the leaked visuals, the Galaxy S26 Ultra appears to refine the design rather than completely change it. The white colour variant shown in the images looks clean and premium, with a flat frame and the familiar large camera layout seen in previous Ultra models. Though there is a noticeably raised camera island, which you will not see on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The biggest highlight from the leak is a new feature called privacy display. This feature seems to work similarly to the privacy screen protectors available in the market. Once enabled, the screen becomes hard to see from side angles and appears dark unless viewed straight on. This could help users keep messages, emails or sensitive information private while using the phone in public places. It is still unclear whether this feature can be limited to certain apps or areas of the screen, or if it works across the entire display.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra specifications and features (Expected)

Rumours suggest the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may feature a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm  Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 globally, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and storage options going up to 1TB. The phone could pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 60W fast charging.

On the camera front, leaks point to a quad-camera setup that may include a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom.
