However, this year appears to be special, as the South Korean smartphone maker has teased the Galaxy S25 Edge, a slimmer variant with older branding. According to a 9To5Google report, the Galaxy S25 Edge can debut in April this year. However, the smartphone maker has not confirmed the launch date or provided other details. The company has already offered the first look at the device during the Unpacked 2025. With its slimmer profile, the device is expected to compete with the upcoming iPhone 17 Air.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to come with a 6.66-inch AMOLED panel. As per the reports, the device may debut with a 6.4mm thin profile. Under the hood, the device may come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It may come coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Due to the slim profile, the device is expected to come with a smaller 3,900 mAh battery, claims report.
In terms of the camera, the device is expected to come with a 200MP primary shooter. The details about the other camera sensor remain under wraps.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, as per the reports, is expected to be positioned between the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra. The reports suggest that the device is likely to be priced between $1099 (Rs 94,800)-$1199 (Rs 1,03,426). However, the exact prices of the device remain to be seen.
