Samsung is all set to expand its M-series smartphone lineup in India. The company has teased the launch of the Galaxy M36 via an Amazon microsite featuring a “coming soon” banner. However, the teaser doesn’t reveal any other details about the upcoming phone. Rumours and speculations have revealed some key specifications and the price of the Galaxy M36. The device will succeed the Galaxy M35, which is known for its value proposition in the sub-20,000 segment.

Samsung has yet to announce the price range of the upcoming Galaxy M36 5G. Leaks suggest that it could come with a price tag starting under Rs 20,000. To recall, Galaxy M35 was launched at a starting price of Rs 19,999.
Samsung Galaxy M36 5G will likely debut in India in July, however, the exact launch date has not been announced.

The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G is rumoured to feature a 6.74-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080×2340 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1500 nits. The handset is rumoured to ship with a 50MP triple rear camera setup with OIS and a 16MP sensor on the front. The handset may come equipped with an Exynos 1380 Octa-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via an SD card.
Furthermore, the Galaxy M36 could pack a 6500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It is expected to run on Android 15-based custom UI. Other leaked details include a Type C USB connector, NFC, and dual SIM support.
