The Redmi Note 17 is already set to make its China debut and possibly India debut anytime soon. While Xiaomi is yet to announce the official launch date, the smartphone has already surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. And now, the leaks have suggested the first details about its storage and colour options.
According to reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 17 will initially arrive in a 6GB RAM and 128GB configuration. The device may get two colour options- Blue and Dark Night. However, we are expecting more configurations as well. Here is everything that we know so far.
The Redmi Note 17 has already been confirmed to feature a 7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to deliver up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, paired with an 8,000mAh battery. Xiaomi has also reportedly confirmed support for 45W wired fast charging along with 22.5W reverse wired charging.

For photography, the Redmi Note 17 is expected to sport a 50MP rear camera housed inside a redesigned square camera module, while selfies could be handled by a 32MP front-facing camera. The device is also tipped to ship with Android 16-based HyperOS out of the box.
Although Xiaomi has not confirmed the India launch timeline, the Redmi Note 17 is expected to arrive shortly after its China debut which is on July 14. The smartphone is tipped to carry a starting price of around Rs 34,990 in India.
