Apple fans waiting for the standard iPhone 18 have something to be happy about. According to a tipster, smartphone manufacturing will begin in November. The smartphone will join the iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro, which were launched earlier this year. Not only that, but leaks also point to the fact that Apple may also unveil an iPhone 18e along with the standard model. While the company has been tight-lipped, the leaks and rumours are painting a clear picture of the device, giving consumers a clear idea about how the device may look. There have been rumours about the new A20 chip by Apple in the iPhone 18 model in comparison to the A19 chip shipped with the iPhone 17. If the rumour holds true, then the users will see better performance from this product compared to the iPhone 17. It may be useful when working on daily tasks or gaming on the device.
Current leaks and rumours point to Apple housing the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro with 9GB of unified memory, while some reports claim that it could be 12GB. This would be a big upgrade on the current iPhone 17 that packs 8GB of RAM.

While the upcoming iPhone 18 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate with a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, which is similar to the current flagship device. The main change is expected to be the smaller dynamic island.
In terms of optics, the upcoming device could feature a dual rear camera setup, including a 48MP primary sensor and a 48MP ultra-wide camera. Not only that, but it may also get a 24MP front camera for selfies and video calls, which will be an upgrade over the current 18MP sensor on the iPhone 17.
The iPhone 18 is rumoured to come packed with a 4,000 mAh cell paired with 25W wired charging and MagSafe support whereas the current standard iPhone 3,149 mAh battery.
Aside from the abovementioned, do note that Chinese tipster Digital Focus recently posted on Weibo, stating that the production of the Apple iPhone 18 is set to begin at the end of November. Not only that, but he also added that the stock volume of the iPhone 18 looks quite large this time, indicating that Apple is getting ready for a lot of sales of its entry-level iPhone model, which has typically been a popular choice in the lineup.
While Apple has not officially announced the launch date for its upcoming iPhone 18, the leaks suggest that device could make its debut globally as well as in India somewhere around March or April 2027. Early reports also point out that the device could be priced over Rs 1 lakh.
