HIGHLIGHTS

Redmi Note 12 4G is powered by Snapdragon 685 chipset.

It has a similar design and certain specs to the Redmi Nite 12 5G variant.

Xiaomi has teased the key Redmi Note 12 4G features. Let’s have a look.

Redmi Note 12 4G is launching on March 30, 2023, as part of the Xiaomi Fan Festival. The company has hosted a microsite on the Mi events website revealing the key details of this forthcoming Redmi phone. From this, we get an idea of how the phone differs from its 5G counterpart.

Redmi Note 12 4G features

1. Redmi Note 12 4G’s design language is similar to its siblings from this series. The boxy build and the triple camera island on the back all look very familiar.

2. The phone is launching with Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor. Redmi has mentioned the availability of 11GB RAM with the variable RAM facility.

3. It will be flaunting a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

4. On the back of the phone, a 50MP sensor will be helming the photography and videography.

5. Keeping the phone on is a 5000 milliamp battery.

Rest, we expect the phone to bring MIUI 14 software based on Android 13. Without the 5G tax, this could be priced lesser than the Redmi Note 12 5G. This is a guesstimate and so do take it with a grain of salt.

In case you’re wondering, the Redmi Note 12 5G features a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, 48+8+2MP triple rear camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
