After a series of leaks and anticipation, Realme has finally introduced its next-generation flagship device in India, the Realme GT 8 Pro. The device promises decent upgrades over the Realme GT 7 Pro, including the performance, battery, display, and design. The device features a 7,000 mAh battery, IP66/IP68/IP69 certification for dust and water protection. Realme GT 8 Pro comes with a 6.79-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel from BOE with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2000-nit HBM brightness, and 10-bit colour depth. It comes protected with GG7i. It comes powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built on a 3nm process. The device is backed by a 7000mAh battery and supports 120W SUPERVOOC fast charging. It also supports 50W and 10W wireless reverse charging.
In the camera department, the Realme GT 8 Pro gets a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 3x optical and up to 120x digital zoom. Video recording scales up to 8K@30fps with Dolby Vision support at up to 4K@120fps. The phone ships with Android 16-based realme UI 7.0 and offers several photography modes, including Pro Video, Starry Mode, Tilt-Shift, and more.
The device also supports dual 5G SIM + eSIM, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, stereo speakers with Hi-Res certification, and an IR blaster.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is priced at Rs 72,999 for the base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at Rs 78,999. The device is offered in two colours- Diary White and Urban Blue, and will be available for sale on Flipkart, Realme e-store, and other channel partners. The customers can also get up to Rs 5,000 bank offers.
