Leaks point to a 6.9-inch 120Hz LCD, 6,000mAh battery, 33W charging and HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

Poco is all set to expand its M8 series in the Indian market with the new M8x 5G. The new device will make its debut later this week and will be available via Flipkart. The microsite of the device is also live and confirmed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor. Poco M8x 5G launch date and expected price

The Poco M8x 5G will make its debut in India on August 21 at 12pm. Poco has also teased the phone’s design, which appears to include a textured rear panel and a square camera module. The phone is expected to be priced below Rs 20,000, although Poco has not revealed the final price yet. This would place it below the Poco M8 Power 5G, which starts at Rs 24,999.

Poco M8x 5G specs

Poco has confirmed the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, correcting earlier reports that had pointed towards a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. Poco claims the M8x 5G can achieve an AnTuTu score of more than 650,000. The phone is also confirmed to feature 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

Poco has also teased a large 12,439-square-millimetre graphite cooling component. The cooling setup is also expected to include a 1,924-square-millimetre copper foil layer and thermal gel to help manage temperatures during demanding workloads.

Earlier leaks had suggested a 6.9-inch 120Hz LCD display, 6,000mAh battery and 33W charging. However, Poco has not confirmed these details yet. The company is expected to reveal more specifications and pricing at the launch.
