Nothing has been teasing its upcoming Phone 4a series, which is expected to include two models- the Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro. If leaks are accurate, the launch could take place as early as next month. The company appears to be skipping a flagship release this year, but CEO Carl Pei had earlier suggested that the new mid-range devices will deliver meaningful upgrades over the Phone 3a lineup. Although Nothing has not officially confirmed any details yet, a growing number of leaks and rumours offer a fair idea of what to expect. Below is everything we know so far about the Nothing Phone 4a and the Phone 4a Pro.
The Pro variant is said to feature a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, Under the hood, the device is expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Battery capacity is tipped to be around 5,080mAh, along with fast charging support. For cameras, leaks suggest a triple 50MP rear setup. A 50-megapixel front camera is also expected.
The standard Phone 4a is likely to come with the same 6.82-inch display size but with a slightly lower 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Interestingly, this model could pack a bigger 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. In terms of optics, there could be a 64MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, the device could feature a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
As per rumours, the Nothing Phone 4a series could debut in India on March 5. The Nothing Phone 4a is expected to start at around Rs 31,999, while the Phone 4a Pro may be priced at around Rs 41,999.
