The device is tipped to offer the same 18:9 aspect ratio as the standard LG G6, but the specifications of the device are not yet known

It seems like LG may be planning to introduce a smaller version of its flagship smartphone, the LG G6. According to a report by TechnoBuffalo, the device may feature a 5.4-inch display with the same 18:9 aspect ratio offered by the LG G6. However, it is not yet known if the smartphone will offer the same specifications as the LG G6, or slightly lower specifications.

To recall, the LG G6 sports a 5.7-inch QHD+ display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and a resolution of 18:9. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 platform with 4GB of RAM. The device offers 64GB of storage and runs on UX 6.0, which is based on Android Nougat v7.1.1.

While the new phone does not come with a modular design like its predecessor, the LG G5, it does come with a dual-rear camera setup. At the back there are two 13MP cameras with a 125 degree wide-angle lens. At the front is a 5MP camera with a 100 degree field of view. The device is also IP68 certified.

The LG G6 was launched in India a few days ago at Rs. 51,990. Besides the phone, the company also launched its sports Bluetooth headset, the Tone Active+ at Rs. 9,990, and those who purchased the LG G6 will get 50% off the price. The headset is able to track distance and is water resistant.
