Motorola is gearing up to launch a new device under its Signature branding in India as early as next month. The upcoming Motorola Signature 27 could be positioned as the successor to the first-generation Motorola Signature, which debuted in January this year in the country. For those unaware, the company showcased the Signature 27 at the Snapdragon Summit 2026 in September 2026 and confirmed key specifications and global availability for the upcoming device soon. And now, the microsite on the India website confirms some details about the Indian variant and its launch timeline.
Further, the smartphone’s European retail listing was spotted by GSMArena recently, hinting at the international pricing of the Signature 27. Here is a more detailed breakdown of all these updates.
Moto Signature 27 is expected to boast a 6.8-inch 2K LTPO OLED screen with up to 165Hz refresh rate. According to the India website, the phone is confirmed to debut with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and a new 3D vapour chamber. Motorola has promised Bang & Olufsen speakers on the Signature 27.
The phone will get seven years of software updates and is expected to ship with Hello UI based on Android 17. While a quad camera setup is expected on the Signature 27, Motorola has confirmed a 50MP Sony LYTIA main and a 200MP periscope lens on the back. The Signature 27 could pack a 6,000mAh battery. Other details about the device’s specs remain out of reach of the rumour mill.
GSMArena spotted the Motorola Signature 27 on a Portuguese retailer MegaPC site at a price tag of €1,594.9 (roughly Rs 1,69,000) for the 12GB + 512GB. However, the India pricing could be lower than these currency-converted estimates. The handset could sit in the sub-Rs 1 lakh starting range in India. But readers should note that Motorola has not shared any hints around the pricing of the device. The phone is confirmed to debut in PANTONE Coal Smoke and Capulet Olive shades.
While an exact launch date remains unknown at the moment, the text of the India website: “Stay tuned for more, coming this November” is a clear hint that the device is set to arrive in the country next month. In the Android flagship world, the device will join the Oppo Find X10 series, followed by phones like the Vivo X500 series, iQOO 16 and Xiaomi 18 Pro in the future.
