Motorola Edge 70 Max
Motorola has finally introduced the Edge 70 Max. The device sits at the top of Edge series and is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a massive 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, a Quad HD+ AMOLED display, and Android 16 out of the box. The device is positioned right below the Motorola Signature and comes with Motorola Qira, its new cross-device AI platform, on the device. It will be available in two storage variants and will go on sale later this month via Flipkart, Motorola India’s website and offline retail stores.
The Motorola Edge 70 Max features a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ (1440 x 3168 pixels) AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and 10-bit colour depth. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, while the phone also gets an aircraft-grade aluminium frame, IP68/IP69 certification and MIL-STD-810H durability.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. The company also offers 5,500mm² vapour chamber cooling system featuring liquid metal thermal gel for improved heat management. It runs Android 16 with Hello UX and is promised to receive three years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
The device is backed by a 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W TurboPower wired charging, 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging and 5W reverse wired charging. It comes with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual SIM support with eSIM. Motorola Qira AI will initially be available on the 12GB RAM variant.

As for camera, the device offers 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary sensor with OIS, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera that also doubles as a macro shooter. Selfies are handled by a 32MP front-facing camera capable of recording 4K videos.
The Motorola Edge 70 Max comes in two configurations:
8GB + 256GB: Rs 54,999
12GB + 256GB: Rs 59,999
The buyers can get a Rs 5,000 bank discount or exchange bonus. The smartphone will be available in Pantone Aqua Gray, Pantone Dark Shadow and Pantone Ice Melt colour options from July 20 via Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores across India.
