Motorola Edge 70 Max India launch date, specifications, price range and all other leaks

The handset could pack a 7,100mAh battery with 90W wired and 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, alongside a 50MP triple rear camera setup.

Motorola is all set to expand its Edge 70 series with the new variant, the Edge 70 Max. The device will hit the retail shelves next week and will be available on popular e-commerce platforms in India. The microsite of the device is already live and has revealed some of the key specifications and look of the device. Just like the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus, the Edge 70 Max is also expected to offer flagship level performance, a massive battery, AI features and much more. Motorola Edge 70 Max India launch date and expected price

The Motorola Edge 70 Max will make its India debut on July 15 at 12PM IST. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the official Motorola India website. While Motorola has not confirmed any price range, the device is expected to be priced at around Rs 50,000. This means it will sit above the Edge 70 Pro Plus in Motorola’s portfolio.

Motorola Edge 70 Max specifications

The Motorola Edge 70 Max is tipped to feature a 6.82-inch Quad HD+ LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a claimed peak brightness of 7,000 nits. The flat-panel design is expected to replace the curved display seen on earlier Edge models.

The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and will be paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It will also feature a large 5,500mm² vapour chamber along with its ArcticMesh cooling system to improve sustained performance during gaming and heavy workloads. The phone is likely to ship with Android 16 and Motorola’s AI suite, including the Qira assistant.

The device is said to offer a 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging. Other expected features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, MIL-STD-810H durability certification and Gorilla Glass protection.

For photography, the handset is expected to sport a 50MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto lens, while a 50MP front camera is tipped for selfies and video calls.
