Motorola has expanded the Edge 70 series in India with the new Edge 70 Fusion. The new device, as per the company, offers camera upgrades along with better battery backup and AI features. The phone comes integrated with multiple AI assistants, including Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity and offers a quad-curved AMOLED display, a fabric-inspired rear design and a massive silicon-carbon battery. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and 5,200 nits peak brightness. It comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Under the hood, the device features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also features a 4473mm² vapour chamber for thermal management. The device features a 7,000 mAh battery along with 68W fast charging. It runs Hello UI based on Android 16 and the company has promised to offer three major OS upgrades and five years of security patches. The phone also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, MIL-STD-810H certification, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
In the camera department, the phone offers a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main sensor with OIS, along with a 13MP ultra-wide and macro camera. It also offers a 32MP front camera. The device supports 4K video recording across all cameras and includes AI tools such as Photo Enhancement, Horizon Lock and Adaptive Stabilisation.
