Motorola has been making some serious moves in the smartphone market lately. After grabbing attention with the launch of the first mid-range phone featuring a built-in stylus, the brand is now reportedly preparing to launch another exciting device in India – the Motorola Edge 60 Pro 5G. This upcoming smartphone will be a successor to the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and could come packed with several improvements in terms of display, performance, and camera capabilities. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro 5G has recently been spotted on certification websites including India’s BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), which usually indicates that a product is close to launching. While Motorola hasn’t revealed the exact date yet, the listings suggest that the device could debut in India very soon.

Leaks hint that the Edge 60 Pro 5G may come with a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, this phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, and could offer up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Moto Edge 60 Pro will likely be backed by a 5,100mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. It could run on Android 15 out of the box.
For photography, the phone is expected to house a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP additional sensor. For selfies and video calls, it might include a 20MP front camera.

The Edge 60 Pro 5G could sport a curved screen with slim bezels and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The back panel may offer a faux leather finish. Motorola might also introduce a new physical shortcut key, similar to Apple’s Action Button, for quick access to apps or features.
The Motorola Edge 60 Pro 5G is expected to launch at a price of around Rs 31,999.
