The Motorola Edge 40 series did really well in India last year. Now, it’s time to game up as Motorola announced a new Edge smartphone, a proper flagship device. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has been confirmed to launch in India. Along with confirming the smartphone, Motorola has also shared some specifications. Let’s take a look.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will feature a curvy design with an IP68 rating. It will come in three Pantone colour options. On the back, there is a triple camera setup, holding a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel Ultrawide lens, and an AI sensor.

Coming to the display, the Edge 50 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display with 1.5K resolution. It will support up to 144Hz refresh rate and has 2000 nits of peak brightness. Moreover, it will be protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Further, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is also confirmed to pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It has one prime cluster clocked at 3.3 GHz, three performance cores clocked at 3.2 GHz, two more performance cores clocked at 3.0 GHz, and two efficiency cores clocked at 2.3 GHz. It will feature up to 12GB RAM and probably run on Android 14 OS.

This smartphone will be backed by a 4500mAh battery with up to 125-watt fast charging support.
So, these were the full specifications of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. However, a million-dollar question is, when will it launch? Well, the brand didn’t reveal the launch date but we are expecting this will happen in a couple of weeks. This means Motorola could launch the Edge 50 Pro in April.
