Motorola Defy+ now available in India via online stores for Rs. 17,900

Motorola‘s latest rugged Android smartphone, Defy is now available in India via online stores – flipkart.com and letsbuy.com. The Defy is said to be an upgraded version of the Motorola Defy. The new Motorola smartphone is available for Rs. 17,900 at Letsbuy.com, while flipkart.com is offering the device for Rs. 17,990.

The new Motorola Defy runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is powered by a 1GHz processor. The Defy has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash. The device also features a 3.7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution. The storage capacity is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. On connectivity front, the Defy supports 3G, EDGE/GPRS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1. Check out more specs details of the Defy here.

The Motorola Defy is being pitted against Sony’s Xperia Active. However, the Defy has relatively bigger 3.7-inch screen. While the Xperia Active is available for Rs. 19,990, the Defy costs you nearly Rs. 2,000 lesser.
