The LG V10, the second half flagship for 2015 from the South Korean company is now getting updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. LG has confirmed that the latest version of Android is now available for V10 users in South Korea and will roll out to other markets soon.
The update for the LG V10 is called version v30d and brings UX 5.0+, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The update is currently available for carrier variants (F600L, F600K and F600S) in LG's home market. The update can be downloaded on the LG V10 via the company's Bridge software. Stock firmware is also available for download from LG's official website. The update brings support for split-screen multitasking and more. The new UX 5.0+ also offers an option to adjust the screen content to a more comfortable size, and a wider notification panel similar to stock Android.
According to latest Android Dashboard data, the Nougat version has a market share of 7.1 percent. LG was the first to launch a smartphone with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box when it launched LG V20 in September last year.
