iQOO 15 to launch with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and 7000mah battery
iQOO is gearing up for the launch of its next flagship, the iQOO 15, which is set to debut in China later this month. Over the past few weeks, the company has been teasing several key details about the upcoming device. The handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and offer IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance. It is also said to come with the next-generation 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
While the details on its India launch is still under wraps, here’s what we know about the upcoming device.
According to the teasers, the iQOO 15 will come in two new finishes, one featuring a marble-like texture and another shade called “Lingyun.” The phone will sport a metallic frame with right-angled edges and may include a subtle RGB light strip integrated into the frame.
The iQOO 15 will feature a 6.85-inch QHD AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, ensuring smooth and vivid visuals. It will support wireless charging, a feature that was missing in some earlier iQOO models.
On the camera front, the phone is expected to include a 50MP primary sensor (1/1.5-inch size) and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, likely offering strong zoom capabilities. In terms of battery, it will ship with a massive 7000mAh battery, paired with an 8K vapour chamber cooling system to manage heat efficiently during gaming and intensive use.
The iQOO 15 will first launch in China later this month, with an India launch expected between November 15 and 25, 2025.

While official pricing hasn’t been confirmed, leaks suggest it could start at under Rs 59,999. To recall, the iQOO 13 launched at Rs 54,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model.
