iPhone SE 4 launch this week: Here are all the major upgrades you should expect

Apple’s iPhone SE series has always been a go-to option for those who want an iPhone experience without spending too much. According to Bloomberg, Apple could announce the iPhone SE 4 “as early as Feb 11”. Apple is expected to reveal the new iPhone SE model through its website, instead of hosting a grand event for it. The phone might go on sale later this month.

So, what upgrades can we expect in this budget-friendly iPhone? Let’s take a look at what to expect from the iPhone SE 4.

iPhone SE 4 specifications and features (Expected)

The biggest change in the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be its larger 6.06-inch OLED display, a huge jump from the 4.7-inch LCD panel. The phone is also expected to include Face ID and might feature Dynamic Island.

Under the hood, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be powered by the A18 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. There’s also speculation that the iPhone SE 4 might support Apple Intelligence—Apple’s suite of AI-powered features. 

For photography, the iPhone SE 4 is rumoured to come with a single 48MP rear camera, making it a major upgrade from its predecessor. On the front, a 12MP selfie shooter is expected.

iPhone SE 4 price (Expected)

The iPhone SE 4 is rumoured to launch at $499 in the US (around Rs 42,700). However, based on Apple’s pricing strategy in India, the actual price here could be closer to Rs 50,000.
