The Mate 20 Lite was leaked in images and is seen featuring a notch display and dual rear cameras. Other specs of the smartphone have also leaked.

Huawei is expected to launch another 2018 flagship under its Mate series, reportedly named the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. There are rumours of a standard and Lite variant of the device and further fuelling the rumours, frequent tipster Roland Quandt, with WinFuture, has outed an image of the Mate 20 Lite. Quandt has also leaked the specifications of the device and the renders give us one of the best looks at the phone yet. The smartphone seems to borrow its design from the Mate RS, which also features a centrally aligned dual-rear camera setup and a glossy, reflective rear-panel.

While the Mate RS featured an 18:9 display without a notch, the Mate 20 Lite is tipped to sport a 6.3-inch Full HD+ notched screen with a 19:9 display aspect ratio. As per the report, the smartphone would be running on the Kirin 710 chipset, which was previously seen on the Huawei Nova 3i. The new chip is based on the 12 nm manufacturing process and is said to achieve max clock speeds of up to 2.2GHz. The Mate 20 Lite will reportedly be launched in only in a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and as per WinFuture, could be priced at $400 (Rs 28,000 approx).

In terms of imaging, the smartphone could feature a quad camera setup with dual cameras on both the rear and the front. On the back, it might come equipped with 20MP + 2MP sensors, while on the front, there could be 24MP + 2MP cameras. The fingerprint sensor is also on the rear, just below the vertically stacked dual cameras, and the device could be backed by a 3,650mAh battery. There is no confirmation of when the smartphone will launch, but sticking to the yearly launch schedule, the company is expected to unveil the Huawei Mate 20 Lite, Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro in October this year.
