HTC U11+ with 6-inch 18:9 display, Edge Sense feature launched in India priced at Rs 56,990

HTC has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the U11+ in India. It is priced at Rs 56,990 and can be purchased exclusively via Flipkart starting February 7. The device will be available in Amazing Silver Colour and the company says that it will soon make the Ceramic Black variant available as well. It is the bigger variant of the HTC U11 and comes with the Edge Sense feature, which lets users access notifications, apps and the Google Assistant by squeezing the sides of the device. 

The smartphone features a metal unibody design with a glass back and sports a bezel-less display. HTC says that the smartphone features “the loudest ever HTC BoomSound” with 30 percent more volume and supports HTC USonic earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation.
 
In terms of specifications, the HTC U11+ features a 6-inch IPS LCD QHD+ display with 2880 x 1440p resolution and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. It was launched in two variants, one with 4GB RAM/64GB ROM and another sporting 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage variant. However, the company is only launching the 6GB RAM/128GB ROM variant of the smartphone in India. It runs on Android Oreo and is backed by a 3930mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. 

In the camera department, the HTC U11+ is equipped with a 12MP main camera with Ultrapixel 3 technology, dual-pixel autofocus, f/1.7 aperture lens and OIS support. It features an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and is IP68 certified water and dust resistant. The smartphone comes with connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, LTE, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C port.
