Updated on 27-Apr-2011

An online benchmark tool has revealed the existence (image below) of an Android Gingerbread QWERTY slider from HTC, called the HTC Doubleshot. Similar to the HTC Desire Z, not much is known about the device right now, except for a few specifications.

[RELATED_ARTICLE]The HTC Doubleshot looks like it will have a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and a large screen with a 480×800 resolution, probably a 4-inch display. Other specs include 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, as well as Bluetooth 3.0. 3G connectivity is presumed to be available as well. Not much else is known about the device, though reports claim the Doubleshot name refers to dual-cameras meant for taking stereoscopic 3D images and videos. Evidence of a 6MP camera with HDR capabilities has also been found.

Unfortunately, no images are devices are available, but we expect a form-factor of a larger HTC Desire Z, with dual-cameras onboard.
