HIGHLIGHTS

The HTC 10 was expected in India this month, and it seems earlier speculations were right.

The flagship HTC 10 smartphone may be coming to India on May 26. HTC has just sent a save the date notice, announcing an event, in New Delhi, scheduled for that day. Given that there are no other phones expected from the company at the moment, this should be the flagship HTC 10. The device has been expected in India for some time now, and HTC would have a lot of expectations from it.

The HTC 10 was announced globally, about a month ago. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 820 SoC, from Qualcomm, along with 4GB of RAM. It has a QHD dispaly, with 1440×2560 pixel resolution. The device comes in 32GB and 64GB variants, which can both be expanded to 200GB via a micro-SD slot. Further, there's a 12MP rear camera, along with a 5MP front camera. HTC has been promising a lot from the camera, which has historically been one of the company's weak points.

While there are no available details on the pricing of the HTC 10, the phone should be priced in the flagship range. Also, we're yet to know whether the HTC 10 Lifestyle will be announced in India as well.
