A new leaked poster of the smartphone reveals it’s rear panel design. The device is speculated to be unveiled at the company’s upcoming May 10 event.

Huawei's sub-brand, Honor, might soon launch a new high-end smartphone, which is expected to be the successor for the current Honor 9. The Honor 10 could come in the new Twilight colour variant, which was previously seen on the Huawei P20 Pro. The company has reportedly sent out invites for it’s upcoming event on May 15 and ahead of the smartphone’s launch, a promo poster of it has leaked out giving a look at the rear panel.

The Honor 10 is seen featuring a horizontally placed rear camera setup and the poster states that it comes with a glass rear panel, which suggests that it could support wireless charging as well. There is also no fingerprint sensor on the rear, which could mean that the device either sports a front facing fingerprint reader or relies on face recognition. In terms of hardware, the smartphone is rumoured to be powered by the Kirin 970 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It might feature a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with a taller 18:9 display aspect ratio.

The highlight of the upcoming smartphone is believed to be the dual-rear camera setup. It is speculated to feature a 16MP RGB sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 20MP Monochrome sensor. On the front, it might sport a 13MP front-facing camera with Intelligent Portrait Recognition.

The company also recently launched its Honor 7A in China. It is a mid-range smartphone which comes with face unlock, a dual-rear camera and follows the bezel-less display trend. It comes in two variants, one with 2GB RAM/32GB ROM that is priced at 799 Yuan (Rs 8,300 approx), and another with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which costs 999 Yuan (Rs 10,300 approx).

In terms of specifications, the Honor 7A features a 5.7-inches TFT LCD HD+ screen with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 505 GPU. It and runs on EMUI 8.0, based on Android 8.0 Oreo and is powered by a 3000 mAh battery. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear as well. In the camera department, the device features a 13MP + 2MP dual-rear camera setup with an LED Flash and comes with an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front. It’s not known yet if the device will be launched in India.
