For a long time now, we’ve been hearing a lot of rumours about a foldable iPhone. If reports are to be believed, Apple could launch the device next year, alongside the iPhone 18 series. In his latest report, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that Apple’s foldable iPhone might just feel like “two titanium iPhone Airs side-by-side.” This could give Apple a thin, sleek foldable design while keeping the durability and premium feel fans expect.
While foldables from other brands have improved, many users still worry about their ability to withstand everyday use. Apple’s foldable is rumoured to feature a titanium frame, similar to the iPhone Air, and a hinge made from a mix of titanium and stainless steel. This could make the phone more resistant to wear and tear.

The price of the foldable iPhone could start at $2,000 or more, making it one of Apple’s priciest phones yet.
Leaks suggest that the foldable iPhone is likely to have a 5.5-inch external display and a 7.8-inch inner foldable screen. Ming-Chi Kuo has hinted that the inner display could be crease-free, with Samsung Display supplying the panel. Camera-wise, the phone might include a dual rear setup and a single front-facing camera.
