The iPhone 7 should be available in three variants.

Apple may launch three variants of the iPhone this year, and raise the storage capacity of the base version to 32GB. According to a report by MobiPicker, a Weibo user has posted the price of all the iPhone variants for 2016. As per the post, Apple may also launch an iPhone 7 Pro alongside the standard and Plus variants, and the cheapest variant of the iPhone 7 may be priced at CNY 5,288 (approx. Rs. 54,100). Further, the base variant of the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro may be priced at CNY 6,088 (approx. Rs. 62,300) and CNY 7,088 ( approx. Rs. 72,500) respectively. Further, the post also hints that the standard iPhone 7 may have 32GB, 64GB and 256GB variants, while the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro may present a 128GB variant in place of the 64GB one, alongside retaining the other two storage variants.

Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported that this year’s iPhone may only offer subtle changes from the iPhone 6 and 6S, instead of a major design overhaul. While Apple does make design changes every two years, the publication reports that this may not be the case in 2016, as the technology it is planning to use may take time to implement. Sources also told WSJ that the biggest change this year might be the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack. Previous reports and numerous case and schematics leaks have also hinted at the iPhone 7 featuring a dual-camera variant.
