Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in September 2025, alongside the standard iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air. According to rumours, this year’s Pro models could bring some major design changes and significant camera upgrades.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 series between September 11 and 13, 2025. Pre-orders should go live shortly after the launch, with sales starting within a week or two.

The Apple iPhone 17 Pro could cost around Rs 1,39,999 in India, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max might carry a price tag of Rs 1,64,999.
Apple might make some noticeable design changes this time. While the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to stick with a 6.3-inch screen and the Pro Max with a 6.9-inch display, the frame might shift from titanium to aluminium. The back may get a new look with a half-glass finish. The rear camera layout could also switch from the current square shape to a broader rectangular layout.
Big improvements are coming to the cameras. The front camera could jump to 24MP. All three rear cameras — wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto — could feature 48MP sensors. Other expected camera features include 8K video recording, dual video mode and a mechanical aperture to improve low-light and portrait photos.

Under the hood, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to be powered by Apple’s A19 Pro chip. RAM could go up to 12GB. In terms of colours, you can expect classic options like Black, White, and Gold. Apple will also likely add a Sky Blue colour.
