10.or (pronounced Tenor) has launched the 10.or D2 smartphone which is built using insights and feedback from thousands of customer reviews on Amazon.in as part of the ‘Crafted for Amazon’ program. The phone is available in two variants: 2GB RAM with 16GB storage for Rs 6,999 and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage which is priced at Rs 7,999. The storage of both the phones can be expanded up to 128GB.
10.or D2 will be available from noon on August 28. Prime members will get early access from 12PM on August 27. Starting today, customers can register to get notifications about the sale. 10.or claims that the 10.or D2 has passed 962 different quality tests. “The 10.or D2 is a ‘Crafted for Amazon’ device that combines world-class manufacturing with high reliability and quality standards and is built with insights generated through our engagement with customers on Amazon.in. Our partner Huaqin Technologies, with several learnings from its predecessor 10.or D, has manufactured this second-generation smartphone exclusively for customers on Amazon.in,” Noor Patel, Director of Category Management, Amazon India, said in a statement.
The 10.or D2 sports a 5.45-inch HD+ screen with an 18:9 display. The smartphone runs on a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz with optimized software to offer a superior multi-tasking experience. It has an “Awinic sound algorithm” which ensures superior audio quality for calls and music. The smartphone comes with Android Oreo 8.1 and houses a 3200 mAh battery. The company claims that it can give users up to 70 hours of MP3 playback time, up to 19 hours of talk time or up to 10 hours on the Internet. In the camera department, there is a 13MP camera with a LED flash on the back, and the front shooter has a 5MP lens. The smartphone is available in two colour variants Beyond Black and Glow Gold and comes with key Amazon apps – Amazon shopping, Kindle, Prime Video, Prime Music and Alexa pre-loaded.
