Apple had launched the new MacBook Pro 14-inch last week in India and around the world. The latest laptop from the Cupertino-based tech giant is powered by the M5 chip and promises huge performance gains when compared to its predecessor. The M5 MacBook Pro goes on sale today and is now finally available in India. If you are a creator, working professional, or power user who wants top-tier performance in a compact form factor, this might be right choice. Read on to know how to order the M5 MacBook Pro, India price, and other details.
The price of the new MacBook Pro 14-inch in India begins at Rs 1,69,900 for the base variant that comes with 16GB of unified memory and 512GB of onboard storage. The 1TB storage model costs Rs 1,89,900, while the higher-end configuration with 24GB of unified memory and 1TB of storage is priced at Rs 2,09,900. For users who need even more power, Apple allows custom configurations with up to 32GB of unified memory and 4TB of onboard storage, though these upgrades come at an additional cost.
The MacBook Pro 14-inch (2025) is available in two colour options – Silver and Space Black – through Apple’s online store, Apple BKC (Mumbai) and Apple Saket (New Delhi) retail outlets, as well as authorised Apple resellers and major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart.
To order online, customers can head to the official Apple India website, select their preferred configuration, and place the order directly. Apple also offers custom build-to-order options, allowing users to increase memory or storage based on their needs. Delivery timelines vary depending on the chosen configuration, with standard models usually shipping within 2 to 4 business days and custom models taking slightly longer.
Apple is also offering instant savings of up to Rs 10,000 on select Mac models when purchased using eligible HDFC Bank or SBI Credit Cards, applicable on both EMI and no-cost EMI transactions. Customers can also opt for Apple Trade In, which lets you exchange an old Mac, iPhone, or iPad for credit towards your new purchase.
Powering the new laptop is Apple’s next-generation M5 chip, built with a 10-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. The M5 promises faster performance across creative apps, multitasking, and AI-driven workflows. Apple also claims that tasks like image generation, text-to-image creation, and local LLM processing now run significantly faster thanks to the chip’s enhanced unified memory architecture.
The laptop runs macOS Tahoe, which introduces a cleaner design, more customisation, and native support for Apple Intelligence. Features such as Live Translation in FaceTime and Messages, smarter automation in Shortcuts, and new accessibility tools make the experience more seamless and intuitive.
Battery life has also seen a jump. Apple promises up to 24 hours of usage on a single charge, which is one of the longest ever on a Pro laptop. With a 96W or higher USB-C power adapter, users can fast charge the device to 50% in just 30 minutes, making it ideal for professionals who work on the go.
In the front, there is a 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, offering up to 1600 nits of peak HDR brightness, crisp contrast, and smooth visuals. There’s also a 12MP Center Stage camera for sharper video calls, paired with a six-speaker sound system that supports Spatial Audio for a cinema-like experience. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI, an SDXC card slot, and the MagSafe 3 charging port.
