Samsung has launched its new Made-in-India Smart WindFree Cassette Air Conditioners in the country. It comes in three models: 1-Way Cassette with Single airflow direction, 4-Way Cassette for Four-direction airflow, and 360 Cassette for all-around air distribution. The new lineup is designed for commercial spaces, offering Wi-Fi-enabled SmartThings connectivity, Samsung’s signature WindFree Cooling technology, and the use of sustainable R32 refrigerant. The company says the new models are tailored for Indian conditions, delivering ‘smarter, energy-efficient cooling’.
Samsung’s new WindFree Cassette AC range starts at Rs 65,000 (excluding GST) and will be available through authorised commercial AC channel partners across India from October 2025.
The 1-Way Cassette ACs are out in 1.0 ton, 1.5 ton and 2.0 ton options. The 4-way Cassette ACs are out in 1.5 ton, 2.0 ton, 3.0 ton and 4.0 ton options, and finally, the 360° model is available in 2.0 ton, 3.0 ton and 4.0 ton options.

The new Samsung ACs operate on R32 refrigerant, which has a lower global warming potential than conventional refrigerants. For consistent energy-efficient cooling, WindFree Cassette ACs disperse cool air through thousands of micro-holes.
An optional PM 1.0 filter can be added to capture ultra-fine dust particles for improved indoor air quality.
The ACs have built-in Wi-Fi that connects directly to Samsung’s SmartThings app, allowing you to monitor and control your ACs remotely without additional modules. You can adjust settings, track energy use, and operate the unit via voice assistants such as Bixby, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant.
And you may not even have to intervene thanks to Smart modes like Welcome Cooling Mode that uses GPS tracking to pre-cool spaces before arrival, Good Sleep Mode that adjusts temperature patterns through the night to save up to 48% energy, and Comfort Humidity Control that maintains consistent humidity levels while saving up to 19% energy in dry mode.
These Samsung Cassette ACs stand out for their out-of-the-box Wi-Fi connectivity, SmartThings automation, and WindFree cooling mechanism, which together offer a higher degree of control and comfort compared to most rivals in this segment.
