One UI 7 update is among the most anticipated updates for the old Galaxy device users. While the Galaxy S25 series and a few A series devices have already got the Android 15-based update, previous generation phones including the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series are yet to get the update. The update is expected to bring a series of new Galaxy AI features, design tweaks, and enhanced user experience.
Here’s everything that we know about the One UI 7 release timeline, features, and supported devices.
The Android 15-based One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 is expected to roll out in April while the Galaxy S23 series may get the update in late April. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are expected to get the update in April. The Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy A55 will get the Beta version this month, followed by the stable update in a few months.
Speaking of the updates, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 are expected to get the One UI 7 update on April 18, according to the leaks. The Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 along with Galaxy A55 are expected to get the One UI 7 update on April 25. The Galaxy S23 FE, S22 series, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and A34 are expected to roll out on May 16. The Galaxy S21 series, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, A53, and A33 are expected to get the update on May 23.

The One UI 7 will bring some new features and design changes including a Now Bar, new icons, widgets, revamped camera UI, charging animations, and more. It will also offer customisation upgrades including the vertical app drawer, lock screen, quick settings, and more.
In terms of Galaxy AI features, the new update will bring Writing Assist, Call Transcriptions, Now Brief, and a new Audio and Object Eraser.
The Galaxy S series devices, including the Galaxy S24, S23, S22, and S21 models along with their Plus, Ultra, and FE variants, are likely to be updated. In the Galaxy Z series, the Fold and Flip models from the Fold 6 and Flip 6 down to the Fold 3 and Flip 3 are expected to be included.
For tablets, the Galaxy Tab S10, S9, and S8 series, including their Plus, Ultra, and FE variants, are anticipated to receive the update, along with some budget options like the Tab A9 and Tab Active 5.
Additionally, Samsung’s Galaxy A series models such as the A73, A54, A34, A24, A15, and A05s are expected to be eligible. The update is also likely to extend to select Galaxy M and F series models, including the M55, M35, F54, and F15.
