Qualcomm is hosting its inaugural ‘Snapdragon XR Day’ on July 21 in New Delhi. In a press release, the company stated that the XR Day will focus on extended reality (XR) technologies, with demonstrations of mixed reality (MR), virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR) applications powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platforms.
During the event, the fans will be able to explore how spatial computing is shaping real-world use cases in entertainment, fitness, healthcare, and education. As the global XR market is gaining massive momentum, the event will also serve as a platform for developers, hardware manufacturers, and ecosystem partners to present ongoing projects and prototypes in the XR domain.
“The event will highlight real-world applications across entertainment, health, fitness, and education. It will also bring together an ecosystem of developers, OEMs, and partners to unveil new collaborations and demonstrate breakthrough use cases,” the company stated.

One of the key technologies expected to feature is the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 platform, which powers commercially available devices such as the Meta Quest 3 headset. Demonstrations at the event are likely to focus on how such chipsets enable real-time spatial awareness, advanced graphics, and sensor integration for next-generation immersive experiences.
The event comes at a time when spatial computing is gaining attention beyond gaming, with increased interest from sectors such as medical training, remote collaboration, and industrial design.
In the meantime, Qualcomm is also hosting its first-ever ‘Snapdragon Auto Day’ on July 30, which will focus on automotive innovations such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and in-car connectivity solutions. The event will be organised in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
