After a series of speculations and leaks, Samsung has officially announced the One UI 7 release date for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra along with Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 users. The Android 15-based update will bring a slew of new AI features along with design changes and other tweaks. The Samsung One UI 7 update will start rolling out to the Galaxy S24 series from the first week of April and will gradually roll out to previous generation models.

Samsung One UI 7 update will begin rolling out on April 7. The initial release will cover the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. However, Samsung has not revealed One UI 7 rollout timings at the moment.
Samsung has officially stated that it will gradually expand the One UI 7 update to other devices including the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. However, the exact date is still unknown. The users can expect the rollout in late April or early May, claims leak.

One UI 7 will bring a series of features including new design shifts, smart AI features, and more. Here’s everything about it:
The update will offer a new cleaner and organised user experience with redesigned widgets, lock screen elements, and more. The customers will also get enhanced customisation options, based on their preferences.
Additionally, the new Now Bar feature, which made its debut with the Galaxy S25 series will also be available. It will offer real-time updates on the lock screen, allowing users to check their progress during workouts and more.
The update will bring enhanced Galaxy AI features including AI Select (converts video into GIF from Edge Panel), Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, Audio Eraser (removes unwanted noise from videos), and more.
Samsung will finally say goodbye to Bixby and bring Google Gemini support with the update. It will allow users to give voice commands by simply long-pressing the side button and requesting information or recommendations using natural language.
One UI 7 will also bring natural language search within the device Settings option. The users will be able to make a simple search, for example, “My eyes are feeling tired,” and it will recommend the relevant options.
