Apple is yet to catch up with the Apple Intelligence features for iPhone users. Now the reports suggest that the company is working on its next biggest update, iOS 27. The upcoming update is said to feature three significant AI-powered features as part of its ongoing “Apple Intelligence” initiative. It includes a visually redesigned Siri, a new AI-driven web search tool, and a health-focused AI agent integrated into the Health app.

Starting with the new Siri makeover, Apple has been in the spotlight for building an evolved voice assistant that can perform tasks beyond typical capabilities, after the major Siri overhaul that will be released with iOS 26.4 in early 2026. Siri will reportedly get a new interface and improved on-device capabilities in iOS 27, allowing users to engage with apps, execute complex tasks, and access contextual suggestions more fluidly. This could be Apple’s most ambitious endeavour yet to make Siri a true AI companion rather than a command-based assistance.

Along with a new Siri, the business may release an AI-powered online search engine, which could make information retrieval faster and more conversational. This means that consumers will have improved access to information by allowing Siri to provide context-based replies, summaries, or links directly within the operating system rather than relying on external search engines such as Google or Apple.

iOS 27 could also potentially include the much-anticipated AI health management feature. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is developing a new “Health+” service backed by an AI assistant to help customers manage their physical and mental health. This assistant may help users maintain their physical and mental health. It can also help evaluate activity patterns, advise fitness regimens, track health trends, and make lifestyle suggestions based on individual data recorded in Apple Health.
